This week, the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) held its ninth poultry production training program through the Egypt Soy Excellence Center. The five-hour webinar was held in cooperation with Cairo University and the Egyptian Poultry Association on Tuesday, February 9.
70 participants from the poultry industry in the Middle East/North Africa (MENA) region took part in “Modern Techniques for the Management of Broiler Breeder.” Topics covered in depth during the webinar included: “Vitamins and Minerals in Breeders”; “How to Reach Optimum Body Weight, Uniformity and Sexual Maturity”; “The Male Reproductive System and Fertility”; and “Principle of Poultry House Ventilation.” An interactive roundtable discussion provided participants with the opportunity to ask questions of the speakers and continue their discussion.
USSEC plays an important role in improving the performance of Egypt’s poultry production by helping to lower production costs and increase consumption. Poultry is a major consumer of soybean meal in Egypt and the industry continues to grow. Government ownership in crushing and poultry production is helping to increase the level of protein consumption per capita per day.

It’s impressive that 70 poultry producers from the MENA region participated in a webinar organized by the Soy Excellence Center. These trainings are essential to improve productivity and sustainability in the poultry industry, benefiting both producers and the regional economy. An admirable effort!

Great work
The USSEC’s ninth poultry training program in Egypt, in partnership with Cairo University and the Egyptian Poultry Association, provided key insights on broiler breeder management. Covering nutrition, reproductive health, and ventilation, the webinar helped industry professionals improve efficiency. With poultry being a major consumer of soybean meal, USSEC’s efforts support cost reduction, increased productivity, and Egypt’s growing protein consumption.
I will be trying some of these techniques .
great work
