The safe storage period for feed in a warehouse depends on factors like ingredient composition, moisture content, temperature, humidity, and packaging. Here are general guidelines:

    1. Pelleted Feed:

3–6 months under good storage conditions (cool, dry, and well-ventilated).

Can last up to 12 months if properly sealed and stored in climate-controlled environments.

    2. Mash or Powdered Feed:

1–3 months due to higher susceptibility to mold and nutrient degradation.

    3. High-Fat Feeds:

1–2 months, as fats can turn rancid quickly, especially in hot climates.

    4. Feed with Additives (e.g., vitamins, probiotics):

1–3 months, as additives degrade over time, reducing feed effectiveness.

    Storage Best Practices:

Keep moisture below 12% to prevent mold growth.

Store at temperatures below 25°C (77°F) to slow down nutrient loss.
