Keyways biosecurity prevent diseases
1.Prevent entry of pathogens (restricted farm access , controlled movement)
2.Reduced disease spread (strict hygiene practices , proper waste management )
3.Enhanced Bird immunity and health (Vaccination program , balanced nutrition )
4.Prevent Disease Transmission between farms( All in , All out system , regular health monitoring)

Proper biosecurity in poultry farms minimizes disease risks by preventing the introduction and spread of pathogens, leading to healthier flocks, reduced disease costs, and improved overall production.

It is also the cheapest and most effective way of disease control. It is a crystal example of a popular saying “prevention is better than cure/treatment” as it is actually a preventive measure.

It helps by mitigating/preventing and reducing the risk of introducing and spreading of disease pathogen from visitors, vehicles and personnel coming into the farm
