Broilers chicken are raised basically for meat, typically reaching slaughter weight (1.8–2.5 kg) in 35–42 days. Their feeding is phased is designed to match rapid growth, with standardized nutrient profiles and routines. Each feeding phase has a certain level of both energy and amino acid requirements. Nutritionist over the year have been able to do an extensive study on these requirements. For example the starter Phase (Day 1–10)
<div>Feed Type: Starter crumbles or mash.
    </div><div>Nutrient Profile:
    </div><div>Crude Protein (CP): 22–24%
    </div><div>Metabolizable Energy (ME): 3000–3100 kcal/kg
    </div><div>Lysine: 1.2–1.3%
    </div><div>Methionine: 0.5–0.6%
    </div><div>Calcium: 0.9–1.0%
    </div><div>Phosphorus: 0.45–0.5%
    </div><div>
    Daily Intake: 20–50 g per bird (cumulative ~300–400 g by Day 10).
</div><div>Frequency: Ad libitum (free access), feeders refilled 2–3 times daily.
</div><div>Form: Crumbles for digestibility; mash acceptable but less efficient.
</div><div>Purpose: Rapid early growth, skeletal development, and immunity establishment.
