Ideally a farm should have biosecurity protocols that all staff has been trained to follow to prevent and manage outbreak of disease, infact it is paramount to have this documented at the start of operations and recurring update should be made as operation progress. All the earlier suggestions are practices to be included in your biosecurity protocol.

During a disease outbreak, management practices focus on controlling the spread and minimizing the impact. These include isolating infected individuals or animals, preventing entry of new cases, and implementing sanitation and hygiene measures. In cases of chronic diseases, management often involves empowering individuals to manage their condition through self-care and accessing necessary resources, often in collaboration with a healthcare team.
