It depends upon the age and phase of the bird:

    Ca% Ava. P%

    Starter: 0.95 0.51

    Grower 0.85 0.42

    Finisher 0.75 0.35

Fundamentally, Calcium: Phosphorus ratio in Broiler ration depends on age and production purposes.

For example, Broiler raised for meat production for the first -Six weeks of age will have 0.45-0.5% phosphorus level in either it’s starter or finisher. While calcium requirement at this same age is 1%.(I.eRatio 2:1)

In Breeders, where production purpose is to lay fertile and hatchable eggs for Broiler chicks production, the phosphorus requirement is between 0.45%-0.63% while Calcium is between 3.5-4.0%.

Broiler chickens need varying amounts of phosphorus depending on their age and growth stage. Generally, the recommended levels of available phosphorus (aP) range from 3.6 to 4.8 g/kg of feed. For example, female broiler chicks may need 4.59 g/kg aP from 1-10 days and 2.56 g/kg aP from 34-46 days.

Broiler chickens need varying amounts of phosphorus depending on their age and growth phase. Generally, the recommended levels of available phosphorus (aP) range from 3.07 to 4.82 g/kg of feed, while total phosphorus ranges from 7.2 to 9.6 g/kg

The phosphorus needs of broilers change quickly after hatching. As important as the level of available phosphorus in the level of calcium in the diet. Calcium and phosphorus are two minerals which absorption and metabolism are highly related. Normally the ratio of calcium to phosphorus in broiler diets is around 1.9 with a range of 1.66 to 2.08 depending of the age of the broiler and genetic makeup. Please refer to the nutrient recommendations of the commercial breed you are using to obtain specific details.
