Influencing the gut microbiome. Probiotics, which are live microorganisms, can improve gut health by promoting beneficial bacterial strains and outcompeting harmful ones. Prebiotics, on the other hand, are non-digestible food ingredients that promote the growth of beneficial bacteria. Together, they contribute to improved digestion, nutrient absorption, immune function, and overall well-being in poultry.
