NSP can be digested to a larger extent in the absence of enzymes supplementation in Broilers because of the abilities of microflora in the ceacum of chickens or Broilers that are capable of digesting Non starch polysaccharides.

NSP are not effectively digested due to the lack of endogenous NSP degrading enzymes in bird

Broiler chickens can digest a certain amount of both soluble and insoluble non-starch polysaccharides (NSP) without enzyme supplementation, but the exact amounts vary depending on factors like the specific NSP types and the overall diet composition. Generally, insoluble NSP is digested to a greater extent than soluble NSP in the absence of enzyme supplementation.
