    Validate mixer efficiency by performing homogeneity tests (e.g., taking multiple representative samples and calculating coefficient of variation (CV) for a tracer or key nutrient); acceptable CV typically <10% (often <5% for critical mixes).
    Also run segregation and discharge tests (fill/empty cycles), visual inspections of mixing time, and compare retained vs. expected concentrations to confirm consistent performance.
