- The ideal growth period for modern broilers is typically 5–7 weeks to reach market weight (around 2–2.5 kg) under intensive management. Extended systems may use 8–10 weeks for heavier weights or slower-growing strains, with nutrition and health programs adjusted accordingly.

In my opinion there is no ideal growth period for broilers.
The Growth in Broilers is usually in phases called, Starter, Grower and Finsiher. Each phase is important to achieve goals.
Starter phase is usually from 1 – 10 days and extremely important to build the stronger foundation for rapid growth in Grower and finsher phase.
