When replacing antibiotic growth promoters with organic acids, what specific changes in the feed buffering capacity are required to maintain a gastric ph that inhibit E.coli proliferation without interfering with protein digestion enzymes?

Reducing the acid-binding capacity (ABC) of the feed specifically aiming for a lower ABC-4 value (acid buffering capacity at pH 4) to maintain a gastric pH below 4.0, which inhibits E. coli proliferation, while enhancing, rather than inhibiting, protein digestion.
