Instructor Bio

Funsho Ogunshina is an agricultural consultant who has worked in the Nigerian livestock and feed industry for over 40 years. He has worked extensively in the feed milling industry in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa. He also has vast experience in soya bean processing and the commodity market.

He worked with various organizations in Nigeria, including Livestock Feeds Plc, and the U.S. Grain Council.  He started his professional career in academics at the University of Ilorin and Kwara State Polytechnic Ilorin between 1978 and 1982 after which moved into the industry. He has wide experience in agricultural practices, agro-processing, food processing, business management, new product development, Sales and marketing. He has been a consultant in the Nigerian agricultural industry since 1990

He is an agriculturist and a Nutritionist trained at the University of Ibadan. He also had various trainings at the Kansas State University; University of North Dakota and the University of Georgia, Athens. He also participated in various conferences, workshops and seminars over the years.

He is a Fellow of the Animal Science Association of Nigeria. A past President of the Animal Science Association of Nigeria, A member of the Presidential Committee on Agricultural Development and a member of the Lagos State committee on bird flu control.
