Several routes of vaccine administration in poultry exist:
1.Spray/nebulization (Chicks in the housed environment).
2. Eye drop.
3. Transfixion and scarification (cutaneous route in the wing web or foot).
4. Injection (intramuscular or subcutaneous).

well said, thank you. From a lecture some weeks back, I got to know that it can also be administered via the intramuscular route depending on the endemicity of fowlpox, but in your article you mentioned brushing of the feather follicle, can you expantiate please

Feathers are pulled out from the chicken around the thigh or the breast side. The vaccine is then smeared on the skin of the chicken where the feathers were pulled from.
