IS DISEASED CHICKENS HARMFUL FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION?
Posted by Victor Mgbada on November 21, 2024 at 12:50 amGood morning colleagues..
please I have a question to ask, can a diseased chicken affect humans when its being consumed?. for example eating a chicken that died on its own due to a disease not treated on time.

Birds found dead on their own should not be consumed by human under no circumstances whatsoever.

Yes, consuming a chicken that died from disease can potentially harm humans, depending on the cause of death. Chickens that die from disease might harbor harmful bacteria, viruses, or toxins, which can lead to foodborne illnesses or other health problems in humans.
