Always isolate sick birds from the rest of the flock. Have a qualified person diagnose and treat them for illness. Ensure new birds are separated from the flock for a month.

Separate new birds from your existing flock for at least 30 days before introducing them. You can reduce the risk of transferring viruses by sourcing new birds from a reputable producer or breeder.

Keep sick birds away from healthy birds to prevent the spread of disease. You can isolate sick birds in a separate room or place them in a cool, shaded area

    Identifying sick birds:

1: perform your daily routine cell to cell check of birds well

    2: Access their comb

3: check lice on their body

    4: physical assessment

Isolation is the next step after identifying sick morbid bird. There must an isolated center or pen by 20m from the main pen. Treat according to suspected infection

Identifying and isolating sick birds is crucial for preventing the spread of diseases, especially in environments like aviaries, bird sanctuaries, and breeding facilities

    Fumigation of buildings and incubators
can be used to kill the virus. Infected chickens are the primary source
of virus. Virus is shed during incubation, during the clinical stage,
and for a varying but limited period during convalescence.

Newcastle Disease Vaccine, B1 Type, LaSota Strain,
has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy chickens 1
day, 2 weeks or 4 weeks of age and older against Newcastle Disease.
