Administration of multivitamin Pre and post vaccination is acceptable.

However, some farmers don’t administer multivitamin day(s) before vaccination but days after vaccination.

Reason, they don’t want any interference with the vaccine and the birds don’t come to post-vaccine reactions

The consultation aspect should be taken seriously here… knowing the right person to consult. As not all ‘vet’ and ‘specialist’ are what they claim to be.

Ultimately, while giving multivitamins after vaccinations is not mandatory, it can be a helpful practice to support the health and well-being of your broiler birds, especially during stressful periods like vaccinations. It’s advisable to consult with a veterinarian or poultry specialist for specific recommendations based on the health and condition of your birds.

    Cons of administering multivitamins:

    1. Cost: Additional cost incurred in providing multivitamins.

    2. Overdose: Excessive vitamins can be harmful, so it’s important to administer them in appropriate doses.

    3. Dependency: Birds may become dependent on the extra vitamins if provided continuously.

Pros of administering multivitamins after vaccinations:

    1. Boost immune system: Multivitamins can help boost the birds’ immune system, especially after a vaccination.

    2. Support overall health: Improve the overall health and well-being of the birds.

    3. Counteract stress: Vaccination can cause stress to the birds, and multivitamins can help them recover faster.

    4. Ensure optimal growth: Providing essential vitamins can support growth and development, especially in broiler birds.
