The three types of biosecurity are <mark>primary, secondary, and tertiary</mark>:

- Primary biosecurity: Prevents the spread of pathogens between farms
- Secondary biosecurity: Prevents the spread of pathogens within a farm
- Tertiary biosecurity: Increases the resistance or immunity of animals against pathogens
