The symptoms of bird flu (avian influenza) in chickens can vary depending on the strain of the virus, but common signs include:
1. Respiratory issues: Sneezing, coughing, nasal discharge, and difficulty breathing.
2. Digestive symptoms: Diarrhea or watery droppings.
3. Decreased egg production: Reduced or absent egg laying.
4. Swelling: Swelling of the head, neck, and eyes.
5. Behavioral changes: Lethargy, weakness, and loss of appetite.
6. Leg weakness or paralysis: Difficulty standing or walking.
7. Color changes: Cyanosis (blueness) of the comb, wattles, or legs due to lack of oxygen.
8. Abnormalities in feathers: Ruffled feathers or unusual feather loss.
9. Sudden death: In severe cases, some chickens may die suddenly without showing many symptoms
