i think cold water and fatty liver are contradictionary

No link. They are 2 different things.
Fatty liver is has a result of excessive deposits of fat in the body which the liver becomes enlarged, hemorrhage and oily.
Cold water or cool water is best given to birds during heat period to mitigate heat stress, it is recommended to add vitamin C to the cold or cool water
