Vitamins are thermally unstable, so you should replenish vitamins in their feed by more than 10% or even 40%. You can also add vitamin C to their feed to help alleviate heat stress.

In hot weather, poultry consume less feed due to reduced energy demands. To compensate, you can increase the energy concentration of their feed without changing other nutritional components. You can also add fat to their diet, as it has a lower heat increment than carbohydrates and proteins. In cold weather, you can increase the energy levels of their feed to help maintain feed intake and growth.
