✔️ Nutrient requirements of poultry at different stages of growth ( pre- starter, Starter, grower , finisher 1 & 2)<div>

<div>-✔️Quality and availability of feed ingredients</div>

    <div>✔️Cost of feed ingredients</div>

<div>✔️ Nutritional value and proportions of feed components</div>

<div>✔️ Health and performance goals for the poultry</div>

    <div>✔️ Consideration of environmental impact</div>

    <div>✔️ Accessibility to clean water</div>

<div>✔️ Monitoring and adjusting diet based on performance and health indicators</div></div>

Pls note that the cost of raw materials should be least considered when formulating pre starter and starter feed.

Consider the nutrients requirements of the bird, the productive stage or age, the available feed ingredients, balancing the nutrients including the moisture content and anti nutritional Factors.

When creating a balanced and cost-effective diet for poultry, I would consider the following key factors:

    1. Nutrient requirements

    2. Feed ingredients and costs

    3. Energy and protein balance

    4. Amino acid profile

    5. Vitamins and minerals

    6. Water intake

    7. Age and production stage

    8. Economic factors (cost and profitability)

    9. Regulatory requirements

    10. Sustainability and environmental impact

These factors help ensure a well-balanced diet that supports optimal health, growth, and performance while maintaining profitability and sustainability. But looking at the cost of every raw materials we need for feed ingredients in Nigeria now, to keep up with quality feed is looking impossible.
