    Ich

Also known as white spot disease, this is a highly contagious disease caused by a protozoan parasite. It causes tiny cysts to form on the fish’s body, fins, and gills

    Fin rot

A bacterial infection that causes the fish’s fins to appear ragged, frayed, or discolored.

    Swim bladder disease

A condition that affects the swim bladder, which helps fish control their buoyancy

    Dropsy

Also known as edema, this condition causes the fish’s body to swell or bloat due to fluid retention

    Aeromonas infection

A bacterial infection that causes bloody spots or ulcers on the fish’s body, fluid accumulation in the abdomen, ragged fins, or enlarged eyes.
