Treatment Protocol for Brooder Pneumonia (Aspergillosis)
1. Improve Environment & Biosecurity
Remove moldy feed and litter: Discard any contaminated feed, bedding, or materials.
Disinfect the brooder house: Use fungicides like 1–2% sodium hypochlorite, copper sulfate, or formaldehyde fumigation (only in empty houses).
Improve ventilation: Ensure proper airflow to reduce humidity and fungal spore buildup.
Use fresh bedding: Avoid damp or moldy litter.
2. Antifungal Treatment
Copper sulfate (0.1%) in drinking water for 5–7 days.
Nystatin (if available) in feed or water at recommended doses.
Itraconazole or Voriconazole (for high-value birds, under veterinary supervision).
Amphotericin B (in severe cases, for individual high-value birds).
3. Supportive Therapy
Vitamin A & E supplements: Help with respiratory and immune system support.
Electrolytes and probiotics: Strengthen gut health and immunity.

Brooder pneumonia, caused by Aspergillus, affects young birds.
Treatment:Isolation, antifungal treatment, adjust fat soluble vitamin (A, E), Selenium and probiotics used.

Pneumonia is a fungal affected process . It is leaded to respiratory problem. Please keep the birds isolated ,manage environment & treatment with antifungal medicine.
