    No, it is not a wise practice to give antibiotics to chicks during the first few days of brooding unless there is a diagnosed infection.

    The first few days antibiotic administration is very important. If you do AST or not.

    It does not only prevent bacterial disease, but cure incoming bacteria infection and also improves health and hence growth improvements.
