The **Cornish chicken** is often considered the best for meat production due to its rapid growth rate and substantial muscle development. Known for its tender and flavorful meat, it is a popular choice in commercial poultry farming. Other breeds like **Red Ranger** and **Bresse** also offer high-quality meat, prized for their taste and texture.

This a great and very subjective question if we are talking about taste preferences, cooking methods, recipes, spices and condiments, and more. From a food safety point of view, the best chicken meat is that that has minimal content of microorganisms, and it is free of foodborne pathogens like Salmonella, E. coli, Listeria, and others. From a fresh meat quality point of view, we want a chicken meat that was quickly chilled after evisceration and that have maintained an effective cold storage, never surpassing 4oC, for refrigerated products and no higher than -18oC for frozen products.
