maintain a higher body temperature than humans, typically ranging between 104–107°F

During the first few days of life birds are poikilothermic and cant maintain their body temperature.

Poultry birds maintain a constant body temperature within a range, typically between 41°C and 42°C. This is achieved through thermoregulation, a process where the birds adjust physiological responses to either increase or decrease heat loss. The thermoneutral zone, where birds don’t need to modify their metabolism to maintain body temperature, ranges from 18-24°C for adult laying hens.

Birds are homeothermic, meaning they maintain a relatively constant body temperature, typically between 104°F and 109°F (40°C to 42.7°C). This temperature is higher than that of mammals, which generally range from 97°F to 104°F (36°C to 40°C).

Birds are endothermic, meaning they maintain a relatively constant body temperature, regardless of the temperature of thier environment. But average temperature of birds is 40-42c that (104–108F).
