    The primary difference between whole milk and skim milk is the fat content:

    Whole milk contains about 3.25% milk fat, giving it a creamier texture and richer taste.

    Skim milk (also called fat-free or non-fat milk) has virtually all the fat removed, typically containing 0–0.1% fat.
