Biosecurity protocol should be reviewed as often as possible – as much as twice ot thrice in a year. Biosecurity is all about securing lives and this should be attended to always. It is to note that the most stubborn agent of diseases transmission is man itself, and man can always bypass protocol. Therefore, review 2-3 times yearly is the deal.

Biosecurity protocols in feed production are typically reviewed annually, but updates may happen more frequently if new risks emerge (e.g., disease outbreaks, regulatory changes, or equipment upgrades). Regular audits, incident reviews, or shifts in raw material sourcing can also trigger adjustments. Staying proactive ensures compliance and minimizes contamination risks.

Biosecurity protocols should be reviewed and updated at least annually, or more frequently if significant changes occur in the plant or products. This ensures the protocol remains relevant and effective in protecting the feed production process.
