You can minimize environmental impact of your farm by employing the following strategies,

1. Waste management: Compost your poultry manure and use as organic fertilizer, avoid manure near water bodies, convert your manure to biogas where feasible

2.Odor control: Avoid overstocking and use absorbent materials for deep litter and site farm away from residential areas

3: Air Quality management: Avoid overcrowding, remove litter when due and ensure proper ventilation

4. Noise Management: Site farms away from residential areas to avoid disturbance from noise

5. Training : train your staff on best environmental practices

6. Precision Nutrition: When you have control, you should opt for precision nutrition because it reduces waste that leads to excretion of nitrogen and phosphorus into the environment.
