While there isn’t one single definitive “standard document” for gut health, several resources and frameworks help define and assess it. Key aspects of gut health include a diverse and balanced gut microbiome, effective digestion and nutrient absorption, a healthy gut barrier, and the absence of gastrointestinal illness or discomfort. Various tools and markers are used to evaluate these aspects, including questionnaires, stool tests, and breath tests.

Great answer Bello. Unfortunately, there is no standard definition for gut health; however, a simple definition for gut health will be a gastrointestinal system with proper digestion and absorption of nutrients in the absence of maladies.
