Temperature fluctuations can cause chilling or overheating, leading to stress, poor feed intake, weak immunity, and higher early chick mortality.

Influenced by both high and low temperature stress

    Hight temperature stress

    And low temperature stress also

high temperature cause heat stress dehydration low feed intake , slow growth poor FCR and mortality. cold temperature cause low water intake, crd, e.coli ,gout, mortality

Day-old chicks try to restore body temperature by lying down, but that prevents them from eating and drinking, which results in dehydration and insufficient energy intake.

Chick sensitivity to temperature fluctuations may significantly influence the effectiveness of day old spray vaccination,

Temperature fluctuation will put stress on the livestock

Temperature has an Integral to role to play in the welfare and management in of poultry.Heat stress, Hypothermia Affect feed utilization, Immune status and feed conversion.

    High mortality due to hypothermia.

Reduced feed intake and slower growth.

Crowding behavior (chicks huddle together), which can lead to suffocation and injuries.

Weakened immunity, making chicks prone to infections (like colibacillosis or respiratory issues).

Temperature fluctuations can cause stress and this is not good biosecurity practice.

It can cause stress in two ways.

Either cold stress or heat stress (both are in the extreme conditions of weather).

it cause stress to birds . high temperature leads to dehydration, diarrhea weakness and mortality.

low temperature leads to cold stress, low metabolism, stacking, low water i take so urates depositiin in kidneys, mortality,
