    Calcium, phosphorus, and salt are needed in the highest amounts. Calcium (which can be provided by limestone, oyster shell, or meat and bone meal) is especially important for proper skeletal formation, as well as for eggshell formation in laying hens.

    It is essential you increase the daily requirement of calcium in layers immediately they moved to laying phase from grower phase. Calcium, phosphorus are essential which are originated from bone and limestone

    Other sources of obtaining calcium is through synthetic materials such as Calcium carbonates.
