    The “best quality” poultry is typically considered to be “Grade A” poultry, which means it has a good meat-to-bone ratio, is clean with no torn skin or bruising, and is not discolored; often, this also implies the bird was raised in a free-range or pasture-raised environment with minimal antibiotics and a healthy diet, resulting in better flavor and texture.
