    Cereal Grains

    1. Maize (Corn): High in starch and a widely used energy source.

    2. Wheat: Rich in energy and also contains protein.

    3. Sorghum: A good source of energy, though slightly lower than maize.

    4. Barley: Contains moderate energy but higher fiber content.

    5. Rice and Rice Bran: Provide energy but can have high fiber content in bran.

    Cereal By-products

    1. Wheat Bran: Moderate energy with high fiber.

    2. Rice Polishing: High energy due to its fat content.

    3. Corn Gluten Meal: Provides both energy and protein.

    Fats and Oils

    1. Animal Fats (Tallow, Lard): High energy sources.

    2. Vegetable Oils (Soybean Oil, Palm Oil): Concentrated energy with better digestibility.

    3. Blended Fats: Commercial blends of animal and vegetable fats.
