The two main products from poultry are meat and eggs. Both are rich in highly digestible amino acids with an adequate amount of energy supply. The amount of intracellular fat in poultry meat is generally low and most fat is deposited in the abdomen and subcutaneously, which can be easily removed.

Chicken is filled with high-quality proteins and doesn’t contain much fat — especially if you eat lean cuts. Beyond its rich protein content, chicken also contains: Vitamin B12. Tryptophan.

There is NO protein requirement for poultry. Birds have a nutritional need to consume amino acids

You’re right, the lean protein in chicken is an excellent source of amino acids. Our body need amino acids to build muscle tissue which is important as we age.
