The Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) is a measurement of the efficiency with which poultry converts feed into body weight. The following formula is used to calculate it:
FCR = Total Feed Consumed ÷ Total Weight Gain
For example:
If a bird consumes 100 kg of feed and gains 50 kg in weight, the FCR would be 100 ÷ 50 = 2.0.

FCR = Total Feed Consumed (kg)/Total Body Weight Gain (kg)..
-
1. Formula for FCR (Broiler): FCR = Total Feed Consumed (kg) / Total Weight Gain (kg)
2. Formula for FCR (Layers): FCR = Total Feed Consumed (kg) / Total Eggs Produced (kg)
-
FCR = Total Feed Consumed (kg)/Total Body Weight Gain (kg)
