Poultry disease diagnosis can be discussed under the following headings.
Clinical diagnosis:This involves use of local signs or symptoms found in chickens such as physical Examination of droppings,body features,sounds or voices and general well-being of the chickens respectively.
Postmortem diagnosis or Examination:This involves opening of the chickens body for Examination of visceral organs and t.issues for tentative diagnosis of the infection .At postmortem,this internal or visceral organs or tissue morphology of a dead bird will be different from normal morphology of a life birds,
Laboratory diagnosis: This is a confirmatory diagnosis which involves culturing of chickens blood samples through the usage of various laboratory methods to confirm pathogens of the disease in questioned.
