Heat stress is a common problem in Sub-Saharan Africa. Poultry birds do not get adapted to it, rather the stockman introduces measures that can reduce the impact of the heat stress, such as: Proper Ventilation, Reduced Stocking density, Use of Foggers, Use of electrolytes etc.

Heat stress or stroke is a common experience I. Sub Sahara AFRICA. Poultry Production faces challenges during the hot season and results intro economic losses.
No poultry bird is adaptable to heat stress but they manage this menace at different levels.
Abor Acre breed are highly and genetically adaptable to temperature range in sub Sahara AFRICA.
Furthermore, the stockman provides simulated environment to cool the effects of heat or provide some conditions. ANd additives to cushion the effects during production cycle
