WhileWhile poultry byproducts can be a viable alternative protein source in fish feed, it is essential to carefully formulate the feed to ensure it meets the nutritional needs of the fish. Regular monitoring of fish health, growth rates, and the quality of the final product is crucial when incorporating poultry-based ingredients into fish diets.

Feeding of poultry waste in fish ponds may occur the following

    Water contamination

    Unable to balance water PH

More ammonia contents in the water

Lack of Dissolved oxygen in the pond water

Yes I wanted to mention the nitrogen content and ammonia contained in chicken waste ,it will definitely have an effect on the ph of the fish pond and aid contamination thereof.

Thanks so much this was so amazing a point ,well said.

Bacteriological analysis of water and fish samples revealed that the bacterial load of water and fish samples of fish ponds that received fermented chicken manure was much lower than the bacterial load in ponds that received raw chicken manure.Bacteriological analysis of water and fish samples revealed that the bacterial load of water and fish samples of fish ponds that received fermented chicken manure was much lower than the bacterial load in ponds that received raw chicken manure.
