several studies have been conducted with natural products with antimicrobial activity to substitute the antibiotics used in these birds’ feed. http://dx.doi.org/10.3923/ijps.2002.91.9… state that the treatment using Neem as an anticoccidian in broiler chickens was superior to sodium salinomycin

Neem tree (Leaves have a good antibiotics properties according to some literatures, but i never come across any literature related to its utilization in poultry as a source of antibiotics. Nonetheless, you can run a phytochemical first before using it.

It actually has a phytochemical properties. If all the medication can be replaced with herbs, in that way it becomes organic production which actually adds PREMIUM price to the product.

I think I agree with the natural additives like neem leaf other than chemical and synthetic. But more research has no proven it’s effectiveness and acceptance. Well, if it can go on a large scale farming with great effectiveness then it should be adopted.

The thing about replacement is that can it be replicated on a commercial level? If yes then it will be good. Neem leafs have phytochemicals that helps the birds immune system. It can 💯 replace antibiotics but is it sustainable on a commercial scale? That’s the question we must answer

This is a profound question. I am just in a quest of more organic production in Agriculture. Some one said if we must feed the world, we cant go all organic, this I still find hard to agree with.
