For a fine texture, smaller sieve sizes ranging from 1.0 mm to 2.0 mm are typically used to ensure a smooth consistency. For small crumbs, a sieve size of approximately 2.0 mm to 3.0 mm is recommended, while medium crumbs require sieve sizes between 3.0 mm and 4.0 mm. For coarse crumbs, larger sieve sizes of around 4.0 mm to 5.0 mm are ideal, and for half pellets, a sieve size of about 5.0 mm to 6.0 mm is often employed. This careful selection of sieve sizes helps maintain uniformity and quality in the feed products, which is crucial for optimal animal nutrition.
