To process soybean milk, you can soak, blend, strain, heat, and flavor the soybeans.

    Soak

Soak soybeans in water overnight to soften them.

    Rinse and drain the beans.

Remove skins by rubbing the beans underwater.

    Blend

Combine the soaked beans with water.

    Blend until smooth.

    Strain

Strain the mixture through cheesecloth or a fine sieve.

Squeeze the mixture through the cheesecloth to remove as much milk as possible.

    Heat

Heat the strained milk in a heavy-bottomed pan to 212ºF (100ºC).

Maintain this temperature for 20 minutes, stirring often to prevent sticking.

    Flavor

Add sugar, salt, pandan leaf, or ginger to taste.
