Rank,Country,Notes
1,Brazil,”Often the world’s largest producer, accounting for about 35-40% of global output.”
2,United States,”Typically the second-largest producer, with a share of around 27-33%.”
3,Argentina,”The third major producer, known as a large exporter of soybean products (oil and meal).”
4,China,”A significant producer, though domestic production cannot meet its massive demand.”
5,India,”Another key producer, with most production serving domestic markets.”

The US, Brazil & Argentina are the globally largest producers, while China is the dominant consumer.

China, the U.S., and India are consistently among the largest producers and consumers globally, dominating manufacturing (China, US) and agriculture (China, US, India, Brazil). While China leads in overall manufacturing output and food production, the U.S. excels as an agricultural exporter, and India is a top consumer of many goods, including gold and pulses.

There’s a strong overlap: China, U.S., Brazil, and India are major hubs for both production and consumption, which makes sense because they have very large livestock sectors (poultry, swine, etc.)
