SBOC stands for soybean oil cake (also called soybean meal or soybean cake) which is a by-product of soybean oil extraction used widely in animal feed, especially poultry.
Origin: After oil is extracted from soybeans (either by mechanical pressing or solvent extraction), the remaining solid material is processed into SBOC. Form: It appears as a dry, flaky or granulated cake or meal. Use: It’s a high-protein feed ingredient, typically containing 44-48% crude protein.
