Moisture control
No water leakages in storage
No pest/ weevil infestation
No rat infestation
Grains of the same moisture content together

Grain quality cannot be improved, it can be maintained. Agreed. and part of the measures taken to maintain include: Dry storage, cool, clean and airtight storage, also making sure pest is controlled. The FIFO method(First in first out) also ensures that grains are stored and retrieved in order thereby maintaining the quality of the grains. Thank you

While grain quality cannot be improved after harvest, effective management practices, focusing on moisture and temperature control, can help maintain and preserve the initial quality during storage and handling.

grain quality can be maintained in properly maintained warehouses with ideal stocking densities and good ventilation

Clean grain, Dry grain, Handle gently, Follow recommended moisture content and temperature levels. Aeration grain, Check often. Take immediate action if problems arise.
