Poor ventilation on a poultry farm leads to ammonia buildup, moisture problems, and temperature extremes, causing respiratory issues, eye irritation, poor growth, reduced egg production, increased stress, and higher mortality rates. In severe cases, lack of fresh air can result in sudden death and increased risk of disease outbreaks.

less ventilation than requirement cause ammonia and gases accumulation, oxygen deficiency, difficult breathing, heat stress, wet litter,
extra ventilation cause cold stress, dusty litter

Additionally, if the body heat generated by poultry is not properly dissipated out of the house, then it can accumulate and contribute to heat stress in animals with negative performance consequences.

Poor litter quality, ammonia buildup & finally respiratory disease increase.
