Make sure the drinking water is cooled. The ideal temperature is between 10 and 15oC and it must be below 24oC. Drinking water temperature at or above 35oC will likely results in reduced water intake. To increase water intake in birds, first look at the temperature of the water, then pressure, and then the type of waterers used in the farm. Finally, make sure the drinking water is free of chemical, microbiological, and physical contaminants. The bottom line is if the water is not suitable for human consumption then it is not suitable for animal consumption.

To ensure adequate water intake in poultry production, the best strategies include: providing clean, fresh water at all times, regularly monitoring water consumption, maintaining proper drinker design and placement, adjusting water access based on environmental factors like temperature, and implementing a good water sanitation program to prevent contamination.
